So tonight, I ask you to join me in creating a commission to examine the full impact of baby boom retirements on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. This commission should include members of Congress of both parties, and offer bipartisan solutions. We need to put aside partisan politics and work together and get this problem solved.This is good for two reasons. First, it will highlight the demographic problems that Democrats have refused to acknowledge even as their costs increase and solutions become more difficult to implement. Second, it will address the full range of problems. Hopefully recognizing the full scope of the problem will lead to a more comprehensive solution.
Nutjob leftist Cindy Sheehan was arrested inside the Capitol, although her behavior was so predictable that she never should have been allowed in at all. Perhaps her sponsor, Rep. Lynn C. Woolsey (D-CA), should face an ethics investigation.
Like most Americans, I didn't bother to watch the Democrat/eyebrow response.
Afterwards, news reporters reported receiving press releases attacking the President's speech two hours before the speech began.

Cindy Sheehan's behavior isn't what got her arrested. She wasn't doing anything wrong. She didn't have a banner, as everyone reported. She didn't get up and yell either, or throw pig's blood or anything else. Apparently the arresting officer lied about what took place, because there is no corroborating evidence to be had - no pictures, no video, no banner, nothing.
Read her own account of what took place, it's interesting in contrast to the unchecked story that's being reported.

As for your other claims, neither I, nor the Washington Post, said anything about a banner, so I don't know who "everyone" could possibly be.
As far as I am concerned, especially given how security was run during the Clinton administration, they should be free to throw out anyone not wearing a tie. It's called decorum. The only unpleasant thing we should have to see is Hillary's face when President Bush mentions her husband.
Interesting to note that Intendedfink didn't refute that Sheehan is a leftist nutjob.
